How we review
marketing agencies.

A review label should tell you what was checked, who checked it, and when. Our agency directory includes historical listings, so we identify completed reviews page by page.

What “reviewed” means here

A named marketing team member researches an agency, records the evidence behind material claims, and explains who the agency may suit and where it may fall short. A second marketing practitioner checks the evidence and recommendation before a page receives a “Reviewed by” label. Jonathan Saeidian is the credited peer reviewer for all 80 agency assessments, as confirmed by Growth Virality on .

This is an editorial review by marketing practitioners, not academic peer review. Every agency in the directory has a Growth Virality directory certificate. Growth Virality confirms Jonathan Saeidian peer reviewed all 80 agency assessments; that confirmation is recorded separately from each directory certificate. Individual research notes have not yet been published.

Ownership exception: Jonathan founded Brenton Way, which is included in the directory. His recorded review of that listing is disclosed, and it does not count as an independent recommendation. A separate, unconflicted reviewer must sign off before one is published.

01 / SCOPE

Set the buyer question

Define the service, location, budget, business stage, and other constraints before selecting agencies. Explain how candidates entered the comparison.

02 / EVIDENCE

Check the claims

Use primary agency information, work samples, case studies, and other attributable sources. Mark claims supplied by an agency and record when prices, clients, and team details were checked.

03 / JUDGMENT

Explain the fit

Assess relevant experience, proof of work, commercial fit, and limitations. A “best” label or award needs a specific reason and supporting evidence.

04 / SECOND REVIEW

Record the signoff

A different marketing practitioner checks consequential claims and the conclusion. The page names the writer and reviewer. When the individual review date is unavailable, it shows the date Growth Virality confirmed the review instead.

Commercial relationships and corrections

Our directory also offers agency matching and partnerships. Our review standard requires a page to disclose any material payment, referral arrangement, sponsorship, ownership interest, or reviewer conflict near the relevant recommendation. Commercial arrangements must not determine editorial conclusions. Agency-specific recommendations need a checked commercial disclosure before they are published. Directory certification and peer review attribution do not themselves state a recommendation.

Agency services, prices, teams, and availability change. An agency-specific assessment should show when its facts were last verified; a modification or publisher confirmation date alone does not mean they were rechecked. If you see an error, contact Growth Virality with the page URL and the corrected source. We review documented corrections and update the page when warranted.
